It’s the 2026 Met Gala and for once celebrities are taking the theme—this year, it’s “Costume Art”—seriously. By which we mean there is, happily, a distinct lack of boring outfits! However, our boy Harry Styles never showed up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night wearing a sick outfit.

Though the newly engaged singer couldn’t make it, his fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, stunned in a see-through lace Saint Laurent gown by Anthony Vaccarello. Ofc, she was coy and kept her new engagement ring hidden:

Wondering why Harry missed out on this year’s festivities? For starters, he last attended the coveted fashion event all the way back in 2019, when he was co-chair. But he’s actually gearing up for his massive performances in cities like New York, Amsterdam, and Mexico City. Putting on that good of a show takes a lot of work!

In case you needed a reminder, this was the last time Harry graced the Met steps in 2019 (you know, with the one lil dangly earring):

And SPEAKING of things Harry looks good wearing, he recently—whilst in elf ears—spoke about his fashion regrets on Royal Court With Brittany Broski. Specifically, his skinny jeans era.

“I think I wore, like, really, really tight jeans,” Harry mused. “I know it was of a time, but I think they were tighter than my legs were. Now it would be like…just wear a size bigger. Or three sizes bigger.”

Wow, hard disagree. In fact, bring back Harry Styles in skinny jeans immediately, and add in a scarf for good measure.
